Belarus to participate in informal ministerial talks between Eastern Partnership countries in Baku

Deputy Foreign Minister Alena Kupchyna and Deputy Energy Minister Vadzim Zakrewski will represent Belarus at the fourth round of the informal dialogue between Eastern Partnership participating countries, the foreign ministry’s spokesman, Dzmitry Mironchyk, said at Thursday’s briefing.

The talks will consist of a general meeting between top-ranking foreign ministry officials and a thematic meeting involving energy ministers, Mr. Mironchyk said.

Under discussion will be the current state and development prospects of the Eastern Partnership, including preparations or the Fourth Eastern Partnership Summit, which is scheduled to take place in Riga, Latvia, in May 2015, he said.
