The silent protest action in Minsk on September 21 took place without arrests

It was planned that the protesters would gather at 19:00 on Nezalezhnastsi Avenue in the center of the Belarusian capital and will stay there until 20.00.

Already an hour before the action started, for Belarusian users was blocked one of the social networks as well as several popular online media sources. In the center of Minsk there was a large concentration of policemen in uniform and plainclothes.

Near McDonald's and the department store buildings not far from the subway station Kastrychnitskaya there were several groups of youth - about 100 people. Closer to 20.00 they started to clap their hands, chanting "Changes!". A part of passing cars answered with signals.

After this, the action was completed, and the people dispersed. The policemen didn't detain participants in Minsk, as well as in Baranovichi, Mogilev, Lida and other cities. However it is known about the three detainees in Slutsk.
