Belarus is ready to help the United States of America with establishing peace and calm in Europe. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the relevant statement while talking to reporters during a visit to the third firewood chopping championship among mass media, BelTA has learned.

Results of the presidential election in the USA

Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Certainly, Trump is a powerful figure. Whatever I may feel about him, he is a great person. It was hard to believe that he might win. He has been shot at and faced pressure. They’ve wanted to imprison him and the rest but he forged ahead like a bulldozer. And he did that after seemingly an unsuccessful term of office. Seemingly unsuccessful. This is why it is his personal heroic deed in the name of the American people. He did great from this point of view. Kamala… Kamala is a heroic woman and she shouldn’t cry. I’ve watched her today. She is upset because she has lost. America was ripe to elect a black president but America is not ripe yet to elect a woman. America is not ready for it. And she was on par with this ‘bulldozer’. She did everything possible and impossible. She did great. This is why she shouldn’t cry in any case.”

He also pointed out that after the defeat the Democrats did not urge their supporters to stage protests or arm themselves with mining picks and axes in order to assault the authorities. According to the president, it is a lesson that Belarus’ self-exiled opposition should learn: “If you lose, be ready to continue working. It is a good example for the entire world on the part of the Democratic Party,” the president said.

The head of state stated that he does not care who wins the election in the USA. “I know that I have a piece of land that I have to provide for and defend. I have my own people. I simply express my opinion. It doesn’t matter to me who wins the election but the policy America will pursue does because it represents a third of the world economy and economy is the key matter,” Aleksandr Lukashenko pointed out.

He also remarked that Donald Trump and Kamala Harris would not win any votes during a presidential election in Belarus because of the crazy policy they pursue in the USA. “It is purely an American variant. It has worked. It is their business,” the president added.

Will Trump be able to put an end to conflicts?

The head of state stated that if the re-elected U.S. President Donald Trump manages to stop wars, he should be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed: “He will have to sacrifice everything in order to not only make America great. They are free to make it great but in the interests of the entire world if they aspire to lead it.”

The president recalled that as part of the election campaign Donald Trump promised to do everything in order to end wars, including in Ukraine. More than 50 conflicts are in progress across the globe.

“If he does that, we will send a petition [to nominate him] for the Nobel Peace Prize. He will get it for doing a good deed. I have hope that he will fulfill his promises. But America is not Belarus: they may forget things. But we hope that he will keep his promise,” the Belarusian leader stated.

At the same time he noted that not everything will depend on Donald Trump. As for the conflict in Ukraine, at least two parties to the conflict will have to contribute to its resolution. “He is going to try to end the war in Ukraine but it is not a unilateral process. He may have to come to terms and probably not only with Russia. It affects very many countries,” the head of state pointed out.

Donald Trump has also stated that he is ready to put China in check. However, Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed that a person that can put China in check has not been born yet.

“This is why everything should be divided by two and by three. What you say during the election campaign may not work out due to tomorrow’s circumstances,” the president added. “If they want to keep things calm and peaceful in Europe, we will contribute to it.”

Key rivals of the USA

However, Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced that the USA will keep pressuring Europe because the USA does not need competition. “They live off it. If Europe and euro rise, then the U.S. dollar will be out of business. People in the European Union have already started to understand it,” the president said.

The head of state did not rule out the possibility that in the future the European Union may become united in the good sense of the word and may start working with Belarus and Russia. After all, leaders of the European Union could combine their cutting-edge technologies with the resources that the Russian Federation has.

“It will happen at some point. You’ll see,” Aleksandr Lukashenko is convinced. “Germany has started wobbling today. [German Chancellor Olaf] Scholz will be kicked out and Germany will come to its senses. Cheap natural gas, cheap energy resources, a leading world economy, a world wonder… Where are they now? They have dropped to the bottom. Germans are no fools. They will make the government work the way it is supposed to.”

“The world is terribly changing. We make plans bearing in mind today’s world situation. The situation will be totally different tomorrow. They [leaders of the European Union member states] will certainly stand up for their own countries, for Europe. And in that situation China may not become the key rival for America but Europeans may,” the head of state believes.

He also remarked that the Global South is rising and the Indian economy is growing at a very rapid pace.

“New circumstances may emerge literally some time later. They [the USA] will have to respond to it. This is why you and I contemplate things from the point of view of today. Tomorrow we will contemplate things bearing in mind changes of the situation. It is changing right in front of our eyes,” the president stated.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expects Donald Trump to take care of global matters and to try to make a contribution to the resolution of the problems that have piled up.

“After all, I still hope that something will change. And there is another minor detail. A human one. It is one thing when people in positions of power don’t have experience. It is a catastrophe when people in positions of power don’t have kids. Then they totally don’t care what is going on in the world. Trump has a large family. He has kids. Trump has Melania [Trump] to keep him in check. This is why it is a big thing that he has a family and kids. He thinks not only about his own future but also about the future of the kids,” the head of state summarized.
