No PMC Wagner fighters in camp near Belarusian Osipovichi

Representatives of the Russian private military company (PMC) Wagner have not arrived to examine a possible location for accommodation near Osipovichi, Mogilev Oblast, the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

Leonid Kasinsky, Aide for Ideology to the Belarusian defense minister, Chief of the Central Office for Ideology Work of the Defense Ministry, said that PMC Wagner teams had not come to the Osipovichi area in order to examine the possible location for their accommodation so far.

According to Leonid Kasinsky, the camp near Osipovichi was set up for training military personnel as well as representatives of the administration in the course of setting up the territorial defense system. It is a former permanent military camp, which infrastructure is still in fit condition. The camp can house about 5,000 people.

When asked by reporters where tactical nuclear weapons will be stored in Belarus, Leonid Kasinsky said that this information will not be disclosed. “You have to understand that no one will ever tell you the place,” he stressed.

Leonid Kasinsky recalled the head of state's words, who said that Western countries had failed to track the transportation of tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus. “Naturally, as a military person I will not tell you where the weapons were transported and when they were transported,” he said.
