A number of Belarusbank top managers have been detained, mass media refer to unofficial sources. Chief executive officer Anatol Bahovik is among the detained, BelaPAN reports.
Bank employees got to know about the arrests at the end of last week, the agency’s interlocutor said.
The police and KGB are not commenting on the information at the moment.
KGB detained senior deputy head of the board of directors of Belarusbank Henadz Haspadaryk red-handed on June 15, 2016 – he took a $14 thousand bribe. The new detentions may be connected with that case.
