All the Ukraine fans that were tried and jailed in Belarus are free and return back to their home country.

Ukraine's Foreign Ministry spokesman Evgeny Perebyinis says the Ukrainian law-enforcement agencies made exhaustive measure that enabled them to free all the fans, including 8 people jailed by Belarus for several days, reports Interfax Ukraine.

A group of Belarusian and Ukrainian football fans were detained in Barysau after the Euro 2016 qualifier between Belarus and Ukraine on October 9. The fans stood trial on hooliganizm charges on the next day. A total of 24 fans - 12 from Belarus and 12 from Ukraine - were tried. 8 Ukrainians were sentenced to administrative arrests of between 5 and 10 days in jail. 4 more people were awarded fines in amount of between $100 to $150.

The detained Belarusian fans were fined approximately $60 each.
