Russia’s vice-Prime Minister initiates an antidumping investigation in the dairy market.

The Prime Minister of the neighboring state Dmitry Medvedev agreed that Russian dairy should enter Belarusian market, RIA Novosti reports.

"We should soon initiate an antidumping investigation regarding dairy products first of all targeted at European countries: the subsidies are ultrahigh there, which already harms our dairy industry. But there are also problems with Belarus", - Arkadiy Dvorkovich said during a conference call on agriculture development.

The head of the government pointed out that Russia "needed to learn how to use that entire arsenal".

"We should take an active position. As to Belarus, the situation should be transparent and symmetrical, because with them we have practically a common market, the single customs area, but if Belarusian producers come here, then we should have the possibility to enter their market", - he claimed.
