The Council of Ministers and the National Bank of Belarus have allowed exporters to accept goods or services rather than money as payment from customers.
The directive is in compliance with Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s March 2008 edict that governs foreign trade transactions, the cabinet’s press office said.
In addition, the government has allowed exporters to offset mutual debts with foreign trade partners.
