Belarusian delegation to Eastern Partnership summit offers IT cooperation

Belarus invites the European Union to cooperate more actively in developing digital technologies, Economy Minister Mikalay Snapkow told reporters in Vilnius on Thursday on the sidelines of the Eastern Partnership Business Forum.
The Belarusian delegation has come to the Third Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius with a specific proposal from Belarusian software companies, Mr. Snapkow said, noting that economic integration was one of the platforms of the Eastern Partnership, and that Belarus had a developed IT sector. He said that the proposal had been received well and expressed confidence that it would help the Eastern Partnership participating countries step up their cooperation and develop their economies.
