The authorities take revenge on sole traders for the national strike on June 27.

The Ministry of Justice accused the public organisation Perspective of violating the Law on Mass Events and issued a written warning.

The document sent to the organisation refers to the speech of the organisation leader Anatoly Shumchanka to traders of Zhdanovichy shopping centre and his detention for 5 days, the press service of the organisation reports.

The Ministry of Justice threatens to suspend Perspective's activity or close the organisation through a court if "violations" are repeated.

The document notes that head of Perspecitve Anatoly Shumchanka organised an unsanctioned mass event near the pavilion "Mir Mody 1" at the Zhadanovichy market.

"As informed by the Minsk city executive committee, no applications for holding a mass event were filed to the executive and regulatory bodies," the Ministry of Justice says.

Shumchanka, the head of the organisation Perspective, was detained in late June at the Zhdanovichy market after his meeting with sole traders and sentenced to five days in custody. Sole traders organised a national strike across Belarus protesting against the entry into force of the Customs Unions's technical regulations on light industry goods on July 1.
