"The Russian side proposes to deliver 18.5 million tonnes of oil to the Republic of Belarus. Oil delivery in the first quarter of 2013 will be carried out proceeding from the proposed volume," the press service of the Russian Ministry of Energy informs.

Let us remind, Lukashenka had said today, that Belarus has come to terms with Russia about the delivery of 23 million tonnes of oil in 2013.

"We were holding negotiations with Russia. They were offering 18.5 million tonnes while we wanted 23 million tonnes. However, we have come to terms with the Russians about the delivery of 23 million tonnes," stressed he.

He added: "We will get oil without problems". Alexander Lukashenka said that when there were problems, Belarus managed to find sources of oil in Venezuela and Azerbaijan. "But we have already reached an agreement with Russia," said he.
