Belarus’ FanDOK to make furniture in Uzbekistan
The Belarusian woodworking enterprise FanDOK will produce furniture in Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Davron Vakhabov told reporters, BelTA has learned.

“There are plans to launch a joint venture to manufacture furniture in Tashkent Oblast. We have drafted a road map jointly with FanDOK. We undertake to build a facility and buy equipment in line with the requirements of the Belarusian company, while the Belarusian side will contribute raw materials,” Davron Vakhabov said.

Thus, Belarus will not just sell raw materials to Uzbekistan, but will produce and sell a product with high added value on the local market. The parties will own the enterprise 50/50.
