Eurasian Economic Union, Iran to sign free trade agreement in 2023
A free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran is scheduled to be signed in 2023. These plans were announced during a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on 20 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the government.

Work on the draft free trade agreement between the EAEU and Iran has been completed. The document is set to be signed this year.

The agenda of the EEC Council meeting included 33 talking points that covered international cooperation, technical, customs and tariff regulation, etc. Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko took part in the event online.
