Belarus ready to sign agreement on common industrial policy with Russia
The Industry Ministry of Belarus has completed all internal procedures to prepare for the signing of an agreement between the governments of Belarus and the Russian Federation on a common industrial policy, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Industry Ministry.

The draft agreement has been approved by the Belarusian government. The Industry Ministry has been authorized to negotiate the draft document.

Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Parkhomchik has been authorized to sign the agreement.

Russia is carrying out internal procedures to prepare for the signing of the agreement.

The agreement between the two governments on a common industrial policy will be aimed at improving the efficiency and competitiveness of the states' industrial products on the domestic and foreign markets, as well as the development of a modern structure of national industrial complexes.

Plans are in place to implement the common industrial policy through the development of industrial and technological cooperation, establishment of transnational economic structures, development and implementation of joint production and scientific-technical programs, and many more.
