Lukashenko: The Hi-Tech Park will keep working
The IT industry in Belarus will continue developing, including the Hi-Tech Park. Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko made the statement as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Belarus Boris Gryzlov, BelTA has learned.

Prospects of manufacturing cooperation, import substitution, including in the sphere of information technologies, were discussed during the meeting. Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “We are not going to wrap it up. Some are saying that Lukashenko will kick out all the IT professionals now. I won't. I created this park for a reason. It works and it will keep working. I am simply taking a closer look at the matter, this is why I need to meet with IT guys and not only in the park.”

The president noted that the Hi-Tech Park in Belarus had given a nudge to the development of the IT sphere at all enterprises and the National Academy of Sciences. “I have to talk to them to find out what assistance is needed,” he said.
