The flag carrier and largest German airline Lufthansa will fly to Minsk more often, according to the website of National Airport Minsk.
The German airline expands its presence in Belarus, offers new flights and increases the number of connections with Germany. A new weekly flight from Minsk to Munich on Saturdays.
Starting 4 April 2020, Lufthansa will launch a weekly flight from Minsk to Munich on Saturdays. It will be operated by the Embraer ERJ-190 aircraft with 100 business and economy classes seats.
A plane will depart from the Minsk airport at 6.55 pm and arriving in Bavarian capital at 8.15 pm local time. In addition, in the summer of 2020, the number of existing daily flights to Frankfurt will increase to two per day.
“We are proud to present a new flight from Minsk to Munich – the European five-star airport and one of the main international hubs of the airline. Now passengers have the opportunity to travel to both Frankfurt and Munich, with more number of connecting flights in the extensive multi-transfer network of Lufthansa Airlines.
We are pleased to offer an increase in connections from Minsk by 50%, thereby stressing the importance of the Belarusian capital for Lufthansa,” said Rene Kointsach, the general manager for sales in Minsk. The frequency of flights to Frankfurt will also increase in the winter of 2019/2020 – a total of up to 11 flights per week to the main transit hub of the German airline.
