The World Bank expects a slower economic growth in Belarus in 2019/20, according to the data in its Global Economic Prospects flagship report. The annual growth rate for Belarusian economy may slow down to 2.7% in 2019 and down to 2.5% in 2020/21. The lack of structural reforms may leave to increased political uncertainty, according to the World Bank experts.
The report also forecasts a slowdown for the global economy.
