Belarus will receive the next tranche of the loan from the Eurasian Stabilization and Development Fund, President Lukashenka told the government in Minsk on the results of his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi.
According to Lukashenka, Belarus will get the sixth tranche worth of $200 million in the near future. The head of state said he sees no "no problems whatsoever" when it comes to this tranche.
The whole loan totals $2 billion. Lukashenka says the last - seventh - tranche is a doable issue, a matter of "vigorous activities of the Belarusian government members."
Lukashenka also said that he had discussed with Putin the refinancing of the $1 billion loan, and "again there was nothing like rejection," reports the press office of Belarusian president.
