Government orders to keep unemployment rate below 1% in 2018

The Council of Ministers has announced the unemployment rate plan for 2018. The indices for every quarter of 2018 are listed in Decree No 154 of February 26, the press service of the Council of Ministers reports.
The official unemployment rate should not exceed 1.3% in Viciebsk Region in 2018, the government ordered. The rate should be below 1.2% in Homel and Brest Regions, 1.1% – in Hrodna and Mahilou Regions and 1% – in Minsk Region. The general unemployment rate should not exceed 1% in Belarus in 2018.
"The document has been approved in correspondence with the President’s decree “On employment assistance”, paragraph 2, unit 2.1 of April2, 2015,” the press service reports.
