A train with 41 containers carrying Chinese-made products from mobile phone to car parts departed on Monday morning, adding another trade line to China's planned economic corridor through Eurasia along the Silk Road, reports South China Morning Post.
The train was solemnly dispatched in presence of the attending Belarusian delegation. The link is part of China's ambitious new Silk Road trade plan known as the Belt and Road Initiative. The Belarusian Railways Company regards the development of freight services from China as a strategic and the most promising area of business.
