Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister: Social welfare remains among priorities for 2016-2020

Belarus' Deputy Prime Minister Natalia Kochanova stated that after a meeting of delegates to the 5th Belarusian People's Congress.

Partaking in the meeting of the participants of the 5th Belarusian People's Congress were 400 delegates from Minsk, and also representatives of national government bodies, the general public, the Minsk City Hall, labor collectives and public organizations. The participants of the event signed a resolution, BelTA informs.

According to the document, the Belarusian social and economic development model will help implement the principles of social justice, secure peace and concord in the society, stability and other in the country. “The Republic of Belarus has succeeded as a social state. Our primary goal is to preserve and multiply its economic and political potential,” the final document of the meeting stresses.

The Belarusian People's Congress will take place in Minsk on 22-23 June.
