Belarus should join the World Trade organization on better terms than Russia, deputy PM Mihail Rusy claimed on April 14.

"We should not be late and we should not hurry either. Our rights should not be infringed upon. Our terms should be more beneficial than Russia’s,” BelaPAN quotes Rusy.

The agricultural complex is ready to join the WTO, the official assured. “We discussed the issues connected with subsidies to the agricultural sector when joining the EurAsEC,” the vice PM announced.

The government is not afraid of cheap import that may appear in our country after joining the WTO. Kazakhstan, Armenia, Russia and Kyrgyzstan are WTO members and Belarus has open borders with these states, Rusy reminded.
