Businessmen would like to discuss economic problems with Alyaksandr Lukashenka, co-chairperson of the National Entrepreneurs' Confederation Uladzimir Karahin told tut.by.
The economic situation in the country is difficult and entrepreneurs are having ‘a hard time’, businessmen say.
Lukashenka promised to keep meeting with entrepreneurs about 20 years ago and business lacks a direct dialogue with the authorities now, the co-chairperson of the confederation said. There is high concentration of power in Belarus, Karahin noted. That is why they need to talk to the President. He mentioned Germany and Russia where the possibilities for such a dialogue were created at the highest level.
The meeting should be conducted by head of the Council of Enterprise Development Pyotr Prakapovich, Karahin suggested. The latter advised discussing all the issues with the government and the National Bank before addressing Lukashenka.
