In 2016, Minsk intends to gather the leaders of the former Yugoslav republics. This was stated by Aliaksandr Lukashenka at the meeting with Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic. The meeting was held before a ceremony of laying a memorable capsule marking the beginning of the construction of the "Minsk-World"complex, which was held in the Belarusian capital.

Lukashenka noted that the meeting of the leaders of the former Yugoslavia would be very symbolic. The reason for it could be the construction of "Minsk-World."

Nikolic said that the preliminary arrangements for the meeting have already been done and concern the participation of the presidents of Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia and Montenegro. Lukashenka proposed to think about another project with the participation of the former Yugoslav republics and the Serbian leader praised the initiative.

Yesterday ended a three-day visit of Tomislav Nikolic to Belarus, BelTA reports. The Serbian President held talks with the Belarusian authorities, visited the Minsk Tractor Works and Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War.
