Alyaksandr Lukashenka has called the reduction of the inflation rate a top priority of the financial policy in 2016. He announced it at a meeting with Minister of Finance Uladzimir Amaryn on November 9.
The budget of 2015 has been fulfilled as planned, the Minister told Lukashenka. All the social commitments were fulfilled.
Belarus should not have a high inflation rate, Alyaksandr Lukashenka stressed.
“It should be definite, then people will understand that the inflation rate will be decreased next year even if is caused budget issues. The reduction of the inflation rate is a priority,” he claimed.
The budget for 2016 has already been prepared. It has been approved by the government and the President will consider it soon, BELTA reports.
