Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada)First Congress of the party took place on March 2, 1991. Its original name was Belarusian Social Democratic Hramada. The Statute of the party says that its main priority is social protection of Belarusian citizens, especially workers, young people and pensioners. Its main goals are establishment of fair society, based on the principles of freedom, equality, democracy, social justice and rule of law; establishment of independent, democratic and social state - equal member of the European and international community. ChairmanLevkovich Anatoly Iosifovich was born on June 9, 1953 in Gomel region in the family of agronomists. One of the founders of the Belarusian Helsinki Committee and Free Belarusian Trade Union. More than 10 years was the chairman of Brest regional organization of BSDP. On August 3, 2008 was elected the chairman of the party.
